I was a big fan of the previous Dinofarm game 100 Rogues, so I signed up as a beta tester for this game several years ago. I’ve watched it go through countless iterations and have spent literally hundreds of hours playing it, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. Most games these days are basically idiot proof; anyone can beat them if you just play for long enough, and you never actually have to develop any particular skills or strategies in order to excel. Auro is the exact opposite — it’s all about skills and strategies. And don’t be fooled by the bright colors and cute characters; beneath the hood this is one of the most fiendishly complex games ever devised. You’ll think longer and harder about each move in this game than you will while playing almost any other game. It also has some of the most appealing pixel art I’ve ever seen. You will never again in your life get so much value out of a $3 purchase than you will by buying this game.
